Sitara loves the journey of self-enquiry and awareness, acceptance and love. She began her professional life as an environmental and social justice campaigner for 12 years and founded the environmental charity Feedback. During that time she discovered that her reality is created from within and instead of trying to change the world outside her, the highest contribution she could make is to transform her inner state of being and nurture an honest inner space from which she can offer to the world around her.
Since then she has dedicated her energy to the path of meditation and has trained in various meditation techniques and therapies, including having been trained by OSHO’s dentist Devageet Newman in Transomatic Dialogue Therapy©: a groundbreaking method of self-healing and transformation. She is also a certified facilitator of OSHO Active Meditations and OSHO Meditative Therapies (incl OSHO No Mind, OSHO Mystic Rose and OSHO Reminding Yourself of The Forgotten Language of Talking to The Body Mind).
Having never considered herself as “artistically creative”, Sitara discovered that meditation opens up the creativity and playfulness that is innate in everyone. This led her to the art of weaving and to create wuwei weaving, through which she now shares freestyle weaving as a tool for meditation, self-discovery and joy.
